Jepret Jepret Hitam Putih

Belajar foto Hitam Putih, waktuitu bener bener bingung. bagaimana tidak, lha wong namanya hitam putih tapi setingannya Greyscale.... sebenarnya sama apa beda ya ???? kalo melihat hasil jepretan pada pro fotografi.... hitamputih, wuiihhh hasil nya......... mantap....

Nikon hadirkan D5100

Bagi kebanyakan fotografer pemula, produk DSLR dari Nikon yang bernama D3100 secara fitur dan kinerja semestinya sudah mencukupi. Namun bila tidak puas dengan D3100, ada pilihan lain yaitu Nikon D7000 yang jauh lebih superior. Perbedaan spesifikasi dan harga antara D3100 dan D7000 memang terlalu lebar, maka itulah celah kosong yang dulu diisi D5000 terasa perlu untuk segera ‘ditambal’ oleh Nikon. Seperti yang sudah diduga sebelumnya, Nikon akhirnya merilis DSLR Nikon D5100 sebagai produk tengah-tengah yang tidak terlalu basic dan juga tidak terlalu high-end. Jadilah D5100 ini sebuah jawaban Nikon untuk menjaga persaingan dengan EOS 600D (yang juga memakai LCD lipat), sekaligus mengisi celah antara D3100 (yang dihadang oleh EOS 2000D) dan D7000 di kelas atasnya.

Sebelumnya kita coba ingat lagi mengenai Nikon D5000. Kamera DSLR 12 MP ini sebenarnya sudah sangat baik sebagai DSLR pemula dengan kemampuan HD movie 720p dan telah dilengkapi dengan 11 titik AF. Kita tentu ingat kalau D5000 saat itu merupakan andalan Nikon di kelas pemula selain D3000. Bila sensor D5000 saat itu persis sama seperti sensor dari D90, kini sensor D5100 juga memakai sensor yang sama seperti D7000 dengan resolusi 16 MP. Bila dahulu D5000 menjadi kamera DSLR Nikon pertama dengan layar LCD lipat, maka D5100 juga tampil beda dengan layar lipatnya, hanya kali ini lebih baik dengan engsel di samping (bukan di bawah).

Selain sensornya yang kini memakai sensor CMOS 16 MP, tidak banyak perubahan lain yang dilakukan Nikon kali ini. D5100 masih memiliki modul AF 11 titik dan modul metering 420 segmen, bahkan masih tidak memiliki motor fokus di dalam bodi (yang menandakan bahwa D5100 adalah masih tergolong DSLR kelas pemula). Tidak ada terobosan baru dalam teknologi auto fokus saat live view ataupun merekam video, misalnya. D5100 ini masih sama seperti kamera lain yang mengandalkan deteksi kontras yang lambat saat auto fokus memakai live-view maupun merekam video.

Kabar baiknya tentu adalah layar lipatnya yang kini dilipat ke samping, bukannya ke bawah. Hal ini akan memudahkan saat kamera diletakkan di atas tripod. Sebagai kamera yang kelasnya sama, D5100 dan D3100 sama-sama berbalut bodi plastik, dengan viewfinder cermin biasa (bukan prisma) dan tanpa LCD kecil di bagian atas layaknya D90 atau D7000. Nikon D5100 juga bisa dibeli hanya bodi saja atau lengkap dengan lensa kit 18-55mm VR.

Berikut fitur dan spesifikasi dari Nikon D5100 :

Yang baru di D5100 adalah tuas Live View yang berada di samping mode dial dan penambahan fitur Night Vision. Fitur ini sama dengan menaikkan ISO ke angka 102400 sehingga bisa menangkap cahaya yang sangat redup sekalipun. Asyiknya lagi, fitur ini juga bisa digunakan saat merekam video, meski seperti apa hasilnya saya pun belum mengetahui. Terdapat juga tombol langsung untuk merekam video (berwarna merah) yang terletak di dekat ON-OFF kamera, berdampingan dengan tombol Ev dan tombol INFO.

Penempatan engsel untuk layar putar di samping kiri juga membawa konsekuensi tersendiri. Nikon yang selama ini selalu meletakkan tombol berderet di sebelah kiri di samping layar LCD, kali ini harus berpikir keras menempatkan tombol itu di tempat lain. Jadilah tombol MENU dan INFO pindah ke bagian atas, sementara tombol PLAYBACK, ZOOM IN dan ZOOM OUT pindah ke bagian sisi kanan. Bagi yang biasa memakai kamera DSLR Nikon pasti akan merasa aneh saat pertama memakai D5100 karena banyaknya perubahan tata letak tombol. Tapi bagaimanapun Nikon tetap melakukan reposisi tombol dengan apik, tidak terkesan ‘berantakan’ dan masih mudah dijangkau oleh jempol kanan kita (kecuali tombol MENU yang perlu memakai jempol kiri).

Kehadiran D5100 memang akhirnya menjawab keraguan apakah Nikon akan meneruskan seri D5000 atau tidak. Ditujukan lebih kepada penikmat video dengan layar lipatnya, D5100 secara umum masih mirip dengan D3100 meski secara sensor sama dengan D7000. Bahkan boleh dibilang tidak banyak perubahan yang dilakukan Nikon dari D5000 ke D5100, selain sensor dan engsel LCD lipatnya. Perubahan lain hanya bersifat update minor namun layak diapresiasi. Jadi pilihan kamera DSLR Nikon di kelas pemula untuk tahun 2011 ini akan lebih beragam, dari yang paling basic yaitu D3100 (yang berhadapan dengan EOS 2000D) dan yang advanced amateur seperti D5100 (yang berhadapan dengan EOS 600D).
